Our real name is The Religious Society of Friends but we are better known by an old nickname\, the Quakers. \nThe Quaker way of life is rooted in Christianity but differs in that we have always valued the individual’s relationship to the Divine over any forms\, structures\, creed or even the Bible. \nQuaker worship is simple and this is reflected in the simplicity of our meeting room where we worship. Central to Quakers is the Meeting for Worship. \nHere in stillness\, we can engage with the transforming power of love and truth.
