Young Friends Work Camp – postponed

The Young Friends Work Camp in Lesotho which was tentatively scheduled for December 2015 has been postponed to a date that we’ll determine at YM. YM will be taking place between 27 April – 3 May next year.

World Quaker Day — 2 October 2016

Britain Yearly Meeting is holding Quaker Week from 1-9 October, with the theme: Working together to build a better world. Their support material is on the BYM website. FWCC is using the theme "Inspired by Faith, Witnessing the World". They have a poster on this theme (see below). To download the high-resolution PDF file, click on the image. The 2021 Yearly Meeting will be held early in January. Specific dates are still to be decided upon. The YM may extend to 7 nights as YMs will now be held every 2 years, instead of twice in 3 years. The dates noted for this event are provisional and will be changed nearer the time. The venue is likely to be Good Shepherd, but that is also subject to confirmation.
